Indian Patent office as Receiving Office has started Filing and Processing in Electronic Form of International Applications and Documents Relating to International Applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty using ePCT with effect from 15th November 2014

Hike in Trademark Application Fees effective from August 1, 2014
The office of Controller General of Patent Design and Trademark has issued a public notice whereby it announces the increase in fee for filing of application to register a trademark for a specification of goods or services. The fees has been increased from 3500/- to 4000/- along with fees for expedite examination has been also increased to 20000/-. This change is effective from 01.08.2014. Hereby it is also requested that all the applications filed on and after 01.08.2014 should pay the deficiencies of the said fees on or before 30thSeptember 2014.
